A vintage French crock crafted of Loire Valley grey clay and glazed iridescent salt glaze. Made by hand. Stamped 'Bonny 3' on the side to indicate the size. A beautiful display for a generous quantity of utensils, etc. 

Manufactured by Gres de Bonny, part of a line of potteries run by the Renault family in the Loire Valley since 1847. When the longest running factory closed their doors, the remaining stock was left untouched until today. Extremely limited supply. Stamped Gres de Bonny / Made in France on the bottom.

NOTE: The salt glaze is a natural process with which causes subtle differences in color and finish. No two pieces are alike, which is part of the charm.
