Founded in 2013, Flotsam&Fork specializes in exceptional objects from abroad, with an emphasis on fine tools for everyday use, handsome implements for specific tasks, and a few fanciful things for special occasions. The great majority of our products are manufactured in small European factories belonging to family-owned companies. The exceptions to this rule are essential items from legendary old world brands.

How much is shipping?
Within the US, orders over $100 ship for FREE*. Orders below that amount ship for a flat rate of $12. Expedited shipping charges are shown at checkout.
*Some large or fragile items require additional shipping and do not qualify for free shipping. These items are clearly noted on the product page.
Is there a local pick-up option?
Yes! There is a local pick up option on the checkout page. We will notify you when your order is ready for pick up we can coordinate a convenient pick up time.
Does F&F deliver in the Twin Cities?
We offer delivery within 5 miles of our home base in South Minneapolis. We will deliver orders placed through Thursday of each week on Friday afternoon. Delivery is $10 for orders under $50. Orders over $50 receive free delivery. Please contact us if you would like to arrange a specific time for delivery. NOTE: Delivery will only show as an option on the 'Shipping' page. Please select "Ship" and click the button to 'Continue to Shipping.' Delivery will show there as a shipping option.
Do you ship Internationally?
Generally speaking, we no longer ship orders outside the US. However, we do make some exceptions for Canadian orders. Please email us if you have any questions.
When will I receive my order?

We usually process orders within 3-5 days of receipt, however during periods of heavy volume it may take over 1 week. You will receive an email with tracking information once your order ships. Ground orders will usually arrive within 2-3 days of shipping via USPS or UPS. USPS Priority Express is our faster option, and will arrive within 2 days of shipping.
Once a parcel is in control of USPS or UPS it is out of our hands, and we are no longer responsible for delays. Once a package has been marked as delivered we are not responsible for missing packages. We apologize for any inconvenience.

How do I return a product?
We want you to love your purchase! However, if you are not completely satisfied with an item, you may return it to us for exchange or a full refund, less shipping charges. Please contact us before returning any items, as unauthorized returns will not be accepted. Returns must be received within 15 days of receipt.
Please note that return shipment costs are the responsibility of the buyer. Returned goods must be delivered to us unused, in original packaging and in the condition they were received or may not be eligible for refund. We cannot be held responsible for items damaged or lost in return shipment, and recommend an insured and trackable mail service, such as USPS priority or UPS.

Where do you charge sales tax?
We charge sales tax in our home state of Minnesota.
We promise we will never sell or share any of your personal information, ever. We accept all major credit cards-- Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. You also have the option to pay with PayPal. Credit card information is processed securely and never stored.
