A vintage French crock crafted of Loire Valley grey clay and glazed a classic brown glaze. Made by hand. Stamped 'Renault / Berry / France/ 1' on the bottom to indicate the size and manufacturer. A beautiful display for a generous quantity of utensils, etc. 

Manufactured by the craftsmen at Poterie Renault, a five generation family-run company, which produced exquisite ceramics in the Loire Valley from 1865 until 2016. When the factory closed their doors, the remaining stock was left untouched until today. Extremely limited supply.
