French Stoneware 'Capucine' Bowl
A beautiful vessel crafted of Loire Valley clay and fired in the traditional salt glaze, giving the exterior an iridescent finish.
Manufactured by Gres de Bonny, part of a line of potteries run by the Renault family in the Loire Valley since 1847. When the longest running factory closed their doors, the remaining stock was left untouched until today. Extremely limited supply.
NOTE: The salt glaze is a natural process with which causes subtle differences in color and finish. No two pieces are alike, which is part of the charm. These bowls are made by hand which does result in some irregularities.
ITEMS MARKED IMPERFECT have more irregularities than typical, but are still functional and beautiful.
