From the last remaining natural whetstone manufacturer in France. Cut from natural sandstone shale in the Pyrenees during the summer months, then formed into a variety of sharpening stones and files during the remaining months of the year.
The 'L'ideale' comes with 2 grains- a more aggressive grain on the back and a smoother, finishing grain on the front.
