Le Grand Tradi Utility Knife, Walnut Handle
With a razor sharp blade and velvety smooth handle, you can feel the the quality that comes from over 40 hand crafted steps that go into the making of each knife.
Made in the third-generation atelier of Goyon-Chazeau based in Thiers, France. For over 70 years Goyon-Chazeau has built a legacy in high-end knife making- focused on smal-batch, full-tang, hand-riveted knives made entirely in house.
The story of Le Grand Tradi begins in 1953, when Mme. Solange Goyon and her friends were preparing vegetables. Mme. Goyon asked her husband Gabriel to make a small knife, adapted spefically for peeling, slicing, and everyday use and the P'tit Tradi was born. 70 years later the daughter of Solange used her P'tit Tradi so often that she needed something larger, and helped design the utility knife, Le Grand Tradi.
